What Will Happen After We're Gone?
We all know how important it is to plan for the future. Nowhere in our lives is this planning more important that in families with members, sons and daughters, who have significant disabilities. We want them to have lives of freedom, choice and safety when parents have passed on.
"After We're Gone" (AWG) is a project to provide you with the information and tools necessary to make good choices in supporting your sons and daugthers, and to support good choices over the long term by those sons and daughters. The project offers free training in how to create a long term plan of support, and a community of like-minded persons who are willing to share their experiences, lessons, and ideas for solutions. This website also offers a chance to meet online, and to find useful resources for your particular concerns.
Join up today. Registering with AWG is easy and free. You will automatically receive notices of free training and other project news, and you will get access to more of the resources on this site.
